FIR against former Karnataka CM BS Yediyurappa for sexually assaulting minor

The alleged incident took place on February 2, 2024 when the 17-year old, accompanied by her mother, had gone to seek Yediyurappa's help in another rape case. The mother reportedly lodged a sexual harassment complaint against the 81-year-old with the police on Thursday evening and the POCSO case was registered past midnight.
