Chowdhury highlighted administrative confusion between "Banglabhasi" and "Bangladeshi" people, leading to unjust detentions. This meeting precedes West Bengal's 2026 assembly elections, while Union Minister Amit Shah is also in the state reviewing BJP's poll preparedness.
