India strongly rebutted Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s UN General Assembly address, labeling his remarks as "absurd theatrics" and accusing Pakistan of glorifying terrorism. Indian diplomat Petal Gahlot highlighted Pakistan's history of sheltering terrorists and its role in the Pahalgam attack. Sharif, conversely, accused India of unprovoked aggression, targeting civilians, and falsely claimed shooting down Indian jets.
